Ali Mukhtar is a Director at Fatima Group, one of Pakistan’s leading agri-industrial conglomerates, where he oversees group strategy and the Group’s strategic portfolio including mining and minerals, energy, and other priority sectors. He also serves as CEO of Fatima Petroleum, driving the company’s growth and transformation across the energy landscape.

Ali is the founder and CEO of Fatima Ventures, a venture capital platform that has become a significant force in Pakistan’s technology ecosystem. Since 2014, Fatima Ventures has partnered with Gobi Partners to launch the country’s leading technology fund, Fatima Gobi Ventures, investing in leading startups such as Tajir, Safepay, Abhi, Adalfi, Lean Technologies and Sasta Ticket.

He is also the founder and chairman of Buraq Digital Bank, one of Pakistan’s five newly licensed digital banks focused on expanding financial access through technology.

Ali plays an active role in Pakistan’s business and entrepreneurial community. He is a founding board member of Endeavor Pakistan and a member of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders.

He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
