Degree in Business Studies, Al-Azahar University, Cairo, Egypt. 1978, started business trading in commodities, before venturing into full-scale manufacturing. Founder and President/Chief Executive, Dangote Group, the biggest conglomerate in West Africa. The subsidiaries cut across cement production, sugar refining, salt refining, flour milling, and oil and gas. The Group has a presence in 17 other African countries, and is constructing the largest refinery, petrochemical and fertilizer complex in Africa.
