Amal Abou Rafeh is an expert in the field of social development with an international organization. She serves as a member of the World Economic Forum Longevity Council 2020-21 in her personal capacity.
Amal works in the areas of ageing as well as promoting the rights of older persons globally. She also supports work on ageing related statistics and age-disaggregated data. She has also worked in the areas of social policy, sustainable development and demography. She held positions in Beirut and New York. Prior to her policy-related work, Amal lectured on analysis of social and demographic data.
Amal was born in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and holds a Master of Science in Population Studies from the American University of Beirut.
