I'm a data scientist, helping organizations navigate complex information, currently in healthcare analytics and consulting.

Much of what I do involves tinkering—trying different approaches, learning from what doesn't work, and gradually building toward something useful. Hours outside my regular job, I volunteer on projects that sit right at the messy intersection of public good and technology. It's work that fills me with equal parts excitement and uncertainty—excited by what's possible, a bit overwhelmed by how complex these challenges really are, but genuinely hopeful about what we might accomplish together.
For five years now, the Global Shapers Community has been where I've done much of my growing—first in Nagpur, now with the Bengaluru II Hub (globalshapersbengaluru.org); Learning from people who see the world differently than I do, and my testing ground for turning ideas into something real.
I keep coming back to two areas where I think my technical background can make a difference:
In climate work, my journey started with education. From 2020 to 2023, my team and I focused on climate literacy, teaching hundred of people across Nagpur and Maharashtra about climate science and its local impacts with the help of The Climate Reality Project (https://www.climaterealityproject.org/). That work showed us how hungry people are for actionable information—and how often they still don't know what to do with it.
That's what led me to climate resilience. Now we are trying to figure out how historical data might help cities get ready for what's coming—building forecasting tools that local governments can actually use. Nothing fancy, just clear insights that help protect the communities most at risk.
On the governance side, we are dealing with how scattered and messy public data usually is (https://nitisetu.com/). The product we work on solves reporting and data gaps in the government offices and has AI tools that help public officials make sense of what they already have, hopefully making services work better for the people who need them.
What sustains me —especially when I hit walls with tricky technical problems or realize how much I still need to learn about working with people—is the community I've found. Being around others who care this much, who are willing to share what they know and help you figure out what you don't, makes the struggle worth it.
Always up for a conversation about any of this and beyond.
