Currently, President, Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy. Concurrently: Columnist, Business World; Managing Trustee, Magbassa Kita Foundation. Has organized the National Ulama Conference of the Philippines, and Noorus Salam, an organization of Muslim religious women teachers, civil society leaders; led the development of an Islamic peace education model for the Philippines. Board Member, Mindanao Development Authority. Authored books on the Mindanao conflict, Islam and democracy.
