Architect based in Caracas, Venezuela. Has worked in Italy, India and USA. Degree in Architecture, Universidad Central de Venezuela; 2010, MSc in Architecture and 2014, MSc in Urbanism, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT. Work focuses on projects related to architecture, urbanism and participatory urban design, as well as research and publications. 2015, established architecture practice; also founded Tracing Public Space (Trazando Espacios), an NGO focused on teaching children urban design skills to transform public spaces within their communities. Trazando Espacios has done projects in India, Chile, USA and Venezuela, where it is based. Professor and Researcher, Urbanism Institute, Architecture Faculty, Universidad Central de Venezuela; created and teaches a curse on Participatory Design for graduate students. Has presented work at events in Caracas and internationally (Dubai, Chile, Japan and USA). Recipient of honours and awards, including: Dubai International Award for Best Practices UN-Habitat for graduate thesis Tracing Public Space; Impact Hub Caracas and IDB (InterAmerican Development Bank) Fellowship for social entrepreneurship and award from Metropolitan Municipality of Caracas for contributing to a safer and more integrated city, for Trazando Espacios.
