Andres Rojas is the Director of Applied AI Projects at the Vector Institute, where he leads the design and delivery of applied AI projects for 400+ industry partners to accelerate the adoption of AI in the Canadian ecosystem, with a focus on Governance and Responsible AI. Prior to joining Vector, he was the Director Operational Risk, International Banking at Scotiabank, where he was responsible for providing oversight on operational risk across over 30 countries. Andres is an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad de Chile and an MBA from the University of Manchester, holds a Certificate on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Toronto.
