Andrew McAfee is Co-Founder and Co-Director of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy and Principal Research Scientist at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His research focuses on the economic and organisational effects of digital technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, automation, productivity, employment and business transformation. He also co-founded Workhelix, which helps organisations evaluate the potential and performance of AI applications. Previously, he taught at Harvard Business School. He is co-author with Erik Brynjolfsson of The Second Machine Age and author of More from Less and The Geek Way, examining technological progress, resource use and organisational performance.
