Andrey Nikitin

As the Director-General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, federal-level non-profit organization founded by President Putin, Andrey is focused on building Russia’s economic competitiveness through projects aimed at enhancement of the National investment climate. The ASI also coordinates the National Technology Initiative, a set of measures to create fundamentally new markets as well as the Global Education programme, which has been designed and implemented by Andrey. The program aims to improve the competitiveness of Russian education by providing for the workforce of the future in Russia, which also includes the national WorldSkill program. Andrey is also a member of Presidium, President's Council on the economic modernization and the innovative development of Russia, the President's Economic Council of Russia, and the executive boards and supervisory boards of various Russian public and private companies. PhD in Economics (2006); EMBA, Stockholm School of Economy (2008); Graduate, State University of Management (Moscow, 2001).
