1997, Master’s degree and 2005, Doctorate in Law, Department of Law and Administration, Jagiellonian University. 1997, started working as an academic teacher and scholar, Chair of Administrative Proceedings, and as of 2001, Chair of Administrative Law, Jagiellonian University. 2005, set up own law firm. August 2006, appointed Deputy Minister of Justice. 2007, elected to the Tribunal of the State by the Sejm. January 2008, appointed Undersecretary of State, Chancellery of the President. 2010, elected to the City Council of Krakow; concurrently, Chairman, Club of Law and Justice City Councillors. 2011, elected Deputy, Sejm; Deputy Chair, Committee for Constitutional Liability. 2014, Member of the European Parliament. Since August 2015, President of the Republic of Poland.
