Ann Pickard

Executive Vice-President, Arctic, Royal Dutch Shell Plc

Graduated with MA from University of Pennsylvania in 1983, following a BA from University of California. Worked with Mobil in Russian Arctic, Middle East and South America before joining Shell in 2000 as Vice President, South America. On the Gas & Power Executive, responsible for LNG, Power and Strategy from 2002 until 2005. Then moved to Lagos as Executive Vice President (EVP), Africa; in 2010, became EVP Shell Australia and Country Chair. Appointed EVP Arctic in 2013, responsible for oil and gas exploration across the Arctic region. Described by Fortune Magazine as the bravest woman in oil and one of the 50 most powerful women in business. Non-Executive Director of Westpac, Advisory Council member Eurasia Foundation, Catalyst Board of Advisors, and member of Chief Executive Women. Married with two children, and lives in Houston.
