With Singapore Management University (SMU): Currently, Professor Emeritus of Finance (Practice) & Senior Advisor, Business Families Institute; Previously held leadership positions, Vice President for Business Development; V3 Group Professor of Family Entrepreneurship; Academic Director of Business Families Institute and International Trading Institute; Associate Dean, Lee Kong Chian School of Business; and Dean, Office of Executive and Professional Education. Chairman of Prime US REIT and currently an independent director of AMTD IDEA Group, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore Pte Ltd and Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd.Former Member of the Board: K1 Ventures, Health Management International, Singapore’s Central Provident Fund and GovTech. Chair: Asian Bond Fund 2 Supervisory Committee, Monetary Authority of Singapore. Serves on the HR Transformation Advisory Panel and Singapore Customs Advisory Council. Conference speaker, panel moderator and commentator. Advises privately owned enterprises such as Flexxon Pte Ltd., PBA Group and TOP International, and startups such as Dedoco, Elevate Tech, Hyperscal Solutions Pte Ltd, Pyxis Maritime Pte Ltd, RABC Holdings Pte Ltd, StashAway, SWAT Mobility, and non-profits such as Blockchain Association of Singapore, Cyber Youth Singapore, EtonHouse Community Fund and WWF Singapore.She has been an investment committee member of iGlobe Partners since July 2010, advisor to CUBE3 Ventures since October 2021, and Asia Food Sustainability Fund since February 2022. Research interests are in family office and family business, investor behaviour, alternate investments and enterprise risk management. Recipient: Singapore Public Administration Medals; Bronze (2010), Silver (2016), and the Adult Education Prism Award (2017) for contributions to the education and public sectors.
