Antonella was born and raised in Argentina. She started carrying out environmental projects when she was 15 years old, specializing in the last 11 years in WASH (water supply, sanitation & hygiene) projects.
She has co-founded and coordinated different water-related programs in Argentina and the world. She co-founded SedCero (ThirstZero), a transboundary multi-stakeholder program in the Gran Chaco region (Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay), and the International NGO Young Water Solutions, that seeks to empower young people to become water and sanitation entrepreneurs.
She is also a water and youth advocate and former Vice President of the World Youth Parliament for Water. She holds a Licentiate's degree in Local and Regional Development studies, and a Master of Integrated Water Management, that she studied at the University of Queensland, after receiving a full scholarship from the International Water Centre.
She now lives in Brussels, where she directs Young Water Solutions.
