Dr Al Hammadi is the Executive Vice President of Khalifa university, he is also the Chairman of the board of trustees of Emirates College of Advanced Education and a board member of STRATA a composite material manufacturing company. Dr Al Hammadi is currently leading the UAE advanced network for research and education (ANKABUT), the founding chair of the UAE graduate research conference, the founding chair of uae ICT research forum (ICTRF) and the founding chair of UAE mobile application contest (UAE-MAC). Dr Alhammadi has lead the establishment of the ETISALAT-BT innovation center (EBTIC) and the Gulf Nuclear Energy Infrastructure Institute (GNEII).
