Aryadita Balakrishnan is Head of Strategy at Nishith Desai Associates and leads the Aligunjan Imaginarium Research Center. He is a core member of the firm’s strategic legal consulting practice which works to help companies unlock business opportunities through the proactive use of law. He is based between Palo Alto, CA and Mumbai. Prior to joining Nishith Desai Associates, he worked with the UNCTAD and Rothschild & Co, a leading multinational investment bank.

Aryadita is working to establish a team within Nishith Desai Associates which will focus on advising clients on sustainable development and help companies work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. He is interested in technology and innovation policy and its effects on the world order.

Aryadita received a BA in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University, Boston. He will be a member of the 2020 Class of the Milken Young Leaders Circle.
