Avidace Theophil

Global Shaper, Dar es Salaam Hub

Outside GSC:
Before graduating from University, my plan was to lead, intern, part-time, and volunteer with/in;
- Uni based organisation/clubs
- NGOs & CSOs (with both local & international)
- Corporate Companies (Big & Small)
- Government Institution

I DID. Took lessons with me.

After graduating I wanted to spend very few years working to prove my concept of talent matching. Now more than ever, I believe I am ready to start this new phase of my career. WANT TO LEARN MORE? - Reach out.

As a Global Shaper:
I joined in 2019 with the passion of contributing to #ShapingDar - After 3 months, I was made the Hub's Admin Officer and then after became the first IO after starting the role. In July 2020, I became the Vice Curator and now currently serving as a Curator. As the Hub Curator, I have a team that is committed to creating high-impact projects, supports one another even outside the Hub, and constantly creates a safe space for personal and professional growth. I am forever indebted for being their curator.

I believe in learning faster, growing faster, and that we can be anything we want to be if we keep pushing.
