Ayodeji Babatunde is the Lead Business Strategist and Founder at OutliersHCD Consulting, a business advisory company. Ayodeji sits on the strategy and leadership team and drives strategies for businesses spanning through public and private enterprises. She is experienced at developing strategies for business performance and expansion, customer acquisition and structuring organizations. A published business expert featured in multiple media sites like BusinessDay, WOC, INaijaNow and many others. She has previously held positions at Etisalat Nigeria with experience in performance improvements, customer relationship, retention and engagement and bags a Business Degree in Bocconi University in Italy.
Ayodeji has 5 years experience in enterprise building, capacity development and social entrepreneurship creating innovative solutions to unemployment, education and business development; spanning nonprofit and for-profit enterprises.
She has volunteered in the SheTrades Commonwealth Program generating leads to build client penetration for women owned businesses. She is a Pro bono volunteer for Act4Accountability working closely with a local NGO to initiate a ₦60 million Makoko Health Care facility in Makoko slum Lagos. Ayodeji is a West Africa YALI Fellow for Entrepreneurship. As a volunteer business coach to FATE Foundation, she mentors early-stage organizations to identify and implement organizational and marketing strategy.
Previously, Ayodeji worked in collaboration with HR professionals to facilitate 20% employment in the CareerPlus Employability Program for 1000 fresh graduates functioning as a Project Manager, facilitating alliances with industry experts for the quarterly Mentor-Meet Career fair.
She is a member of the Global Shapers Community Lagos (World Economic Forum Initiative), where she creates approaches on partnerships and collaborations with organizations.
Through these experiences, she has developed skills in capacity building, programs design and management, training and development, project management, youth development and consulting for nonprofits and for profits. She currently facilitates online and onsite business workshops for African small and medium sized business owners from over 13 countries penetrating the Francophone and Anglophone communities.
As the Founder and Team Lead of Nonprofit “REAL Initiatives”, she developed and led 55 programs to build the capacities of over 500 teenage girls from low-income families in less deserving schools on vocational and technology skills that can help contribute towards funding their education. Through her work, 45 girls have funded their education.
