As the former COO at ConvertKit, he built one of the earliest creator economy startups to $28M in annual revenue before retiring from his role in 2021. In the past, Barrett has worked as a management consultant at Ernst & Young, founded a startup called Living for Monday, worked for bestselling author Seth Godin, and led customer success and marketing for Fizzle, an online education platform for small online business owners. Barrett is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received dual degrees in Accounting and Finance as well as a certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership.
