Ben Pfeffer

Curator, Austin Hub

Ben Pfeffer is a recognized leader in social impact, investing, and entrepreneurship. After earning a business degree from the University of Texas, Ben began his career in consulting before returning to Austin to lead business development at Notley Ventures, a social impact-focused investment fund and foundation. At Notley, he successfully raised over $1 million for non-profits across the country while sourcing early stage investments in sustainability, impact, and climate resiliency.

Currently, Ben is an MBA candidate at UT-Austin’s McCombs School of Business and an investor at Elsewhere Partners, a B2B-focused software investment group committed to backing underrepresented founders outside traditional VC hubs.

As Curator of the Austin Hub of Global Shapers, Ben is dedicated to community impact and recently served on the Board of Directors for 3 Day Startup, a nonprofit focused on democratizing entrepreneurship education globally. Recognized as one of Austin's top young innovators in the Austin Business Journal's 25 Under 25 list, Ben enjoys connecting and sharing his ideas. As such, his writing has been featured in publications such as Morning Brew and the World Economic Forum’s Agenda.

A mentor and frequent speaker at UT-Austin’s LaunchPad Entrepreneurship Center, Ben is passionate about mentoring and inspiring the next generation of social leaders and entrepreneurs.
