Co-Founder of Modern Lao Homes, a real estate development company in Laos that was established to raise the building standards of homes in Vientiane, offering a modern and great quality home that should be the basic right of every human being. To date, Modern Lao Homes has a total of 18 projects in the short span of 2 years and Ben actively speaks at events and exhibitions to educate the market on the challenges and solutions to foolproofing home builds in Laos.

Ben is also the curator for the Vientiane Hub in 2017-2018, growing the then inactive hub from 3 active members to 20 active members steadily establishing a strong presence of the Shapers in Vientiane through multiple projects on women empowerment, youth development and green initiatives that caught the city and the media's attention. Ben is also the founding member that led the team to bring in the first TEDx in Laos. During his term as curator, SPEAK Series was an idea birthed to bring together experts and influential people in different industries to share stories, experiences and lessons to educate and empower youths through a full day mentoring and interactive workshop. Also during his term, Ben led an initiative with a fellow Singapore Shaper, Amanda, to bring in 3500+ pre-loved English books from Singapore to Vientiane to spur English literacy and encourage reading among kids and youths.
