His gift for ideas was spotted by Brajesh Mishra, Chief of Staff and NSA to another former Prime Minister, Mr. A B Vajpayee. Later he was invited by his successor Dr Singh in the PMO after he and his Chief of Staff, Mr Nair, who was also advisor to several Prime Ministers including Mr Vajpayee, found his policy ideas and leadership initiatives useful for the nation. He was invited by Dr. Manmohan Singh, the then Prime Minister to advise him on Public Policy, Communications and Global Leadership. Binoy was also a Spokesperson to the Prime Minister.
