Managed, on behalf of LSE, an EU-funded capacity building initiative in development policy. Policy Specialist, World Bank Group. Last five years advising African governments on health policy and investment climate reforms aimed at leveraging the private sector to tackle poverty. Initiated and managed the engagement between the World Bank Group, government and private health sector in a number of Francophone African countries. Keynote/guest speaker for events and schools, Senegal. Recipient of awards and honours: Global Shaper, World Economic Forum (2013); National Champion, Senegal's French Spelling Bee competition (2013); Excellency Scholarship, Senegalese Government; Eiffel Excellency Scholarship for foreign students in France. Interests: policy-making as a powerful tool for empowering vulnerable communities and positioning African countries on the path to prosperity; travelling, international gastronomy, writing and reading.
