Busang Maruping

Global Shaper, Gaborone Hub

A seasoned professional with a diverse background, I have accumulated extensive experience in communications, program support, and consulting roles, collaborating with prominent entities such as SAP America, Atlas Corps, United Nations, and CIVICUS. My expertise centers on external relations, and I recently contributed to the Brand and Marketing department within UNICEF's Private Fundraising and Partnerships division as a Communications Intern. In this capacity, I actively participated in high-impact marketing projects, document editing and review, and various communication initiatives, collaborating closely with national committees.

Throughout my career, I have achieved notable success in civil society strengthening, program support, and development. I spearheaded the launch of a comprehensive communications strategy and the implementation of SAP's largest global employee volunteering program. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in enhancing internal communication tools and engagement across organizations where I've been engaged.
My skill set encompasses proficiency in writing, executive communications support, facilitation, campaign management, and comprehensive program support.
