Chara acquired her Master of Arts in International Relations, security, peace and conflict studies with Distinction from ULB, Belgium after completing her Bachelor of Laws in Strasbourg University, France.
Eager to put in action her academic knowledge, she has interned in several international establishments such as UNHCR, VoteWatch Europe, Crisis Observatory ELIAMEP, and others. A firm believer in youth potential, Chara is actively involved in international scale simulations, both as participant and organizer/ trainer.
Since 2015 she has returned to Cyprus undertaking the position of the Committee of Occupied Municipalities’ Associate.
Chara has published a number of policy papers. She is fluent in three languages (Greek, French and English) and able to communicate in another four (German, Italian, Spanish and Turkish).
