Charlotte Pera

Executive Director, Sustainability Accelerator, Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability

Ms. Charlotte Pera has worked in clean energy, climate change, and philanthropy for 35 years. In 2023, she was named one of the 50 most powerful women in U.S. philanthropy by Inside Philanthropy magazine. Charlotte led the ClimateWorks Foundation for nearly nine years as President & CEO and helped build the Bezos Earth Fund as Vice President and Deputy CEO. In July 2024, she became the first Executive Director of Stanford University’s Sustainability Accelerator.

Charlotte serves on the advisory board of the 100X Impact Accelerator at the London School of Economics and the governing board of the International Council for Clean Transportation. She is a Senior Fellow at the Bezos Earth Fund and at the Mission Possible Partnership.

She is currently a member of the Global Future Council (GFC) on Innovative Financing for Nature and Climate (2025-2026), and was previously a member of the GFC on the Future of Philanthropy for Climate and Nature (2023-2024).
