Over 20 years’ experience across all the major asset classes in capital markets. 1987, founded Softinvest, a technology company specializing in financial services which developed the Topval Option pricing and visualization software which was sold to the French Stock Exchange. Formerly: Global Head, Equity Derivatives, Dresdner Kleinwort; Global Head, Foreign Exchange Options, Bankers Trust; Interest Rate Swaps Trader, Barclays de Zoete Wedd. 2005, joined HSBC as Global Head, Equity Derivatives; 2008, Co-Head, Global Equities and Member, Global Markets Executive Committee; 2012, Head, Strategy and Planning, Global Banking and Markets; currently, Group Head of Innovation, leading teams responsible for Strategic Innovation Investment, investing in disruptive companies, the Innovation Strategy team that identifies and analyses themes that are key to HSBC’s future, and the Innovation Centre that organises the internal initiatives including incubation. Author of Les Swaps: concepts et applications. Interests: skiing; sailing the northern European seas; technology and artificial intelligence, and their impact on society.
