Claudia has worked as an education liaison for UNICEF in Guerrero (a state with one of the highest violence and marginalization indices in Mexico), where she supervised violence prevention projects in schools and a multicultural strategy to prevent inequalities amongst children.
Between 2015 and 2018 she worked as a human rights officer in the Supreme Court of the Nation in Mexico to promote the rights of women, the LGBTIQ population and children in judicial decisions. Nowadays she is fellow of the The Hubert H. Humphrey Program at American University College of Law in Washington D.C.
