Daisuke Iwase is Chairman and CEO of Benesse Corporation, a leading provider of education services in Japan that partners with the majority of public schools and supports millions of children through its learning programs and technology platforms. Benesse is also internationally recognized for its contemporary art initiatives on Naoshima and the Setouchi islands.

He previously served as CEO of Animoca Brands KK in Japan, as Group Chief Digital Officer and Executive Committee member of AIA Group, and as co-founder and President of Lifenet Insurance Company, a pioneering digital life insurer in Japan. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Kakaku.com, operator of tabelog.com.

Mr. Iwase graduated as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School and was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010.
