CEO and Co-Founder of i4j Innovation for Jobst. PhD in Quantum Molecular Physics, Uppsala University, Sweden. Swedish physicist, active in the field of science, innovation and society. 1994, headed the first symposium about the Internet in the Swedish Parliament; coined the concepts of innovation journalism, attention work and innovation communication systems. Former Director, Research Funding, Knowledge Foundation (KK-stiftelsen), responsible for creating the Swedish research funding system for university colleges which broke down the earlier distinct borders between the universities as institutions for education and research, and the university colleges as institutions for education only. Founding Executive Director, Stanford Center for Innovation and Communication; Adjunct Professor, IDC Herzliya, Israel; Visiting Professor, Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Tech Monterrey), Mexico; Visiting Professor, Deutsche Welle DW-Academy. Former Special Adviser to the Director-General, VINNOVA. Recipient of honours, including: World Economic Forum Innovation 100 expert. Member, Global Agenda Council on the Future of Media and on the Future of Journalism, World Economic Forum.
