As a medical student and public health graduate, I have experience in both micro and macro problem-solving of health issues. Working towards a career in local and global systems development, I seek to harness my interests around design thinking and systems thinking to build healthy communities comprised of healthy individuals living within healthy societal structures.
My education is complemented by a diverse background centred on giving back — from creating a cross-discipline network of upcoming wāhine health professionals through to championing civic education of rangatahi across the country. Equity, particularly on the front of women, mental health and sustainable development, shape my career intentions.
