Professional experience relies on two cornerstones – funding start-ups and youth empowerment. From 2018, heads the investment and operations processes at venture capital fund Overkill Ventures; has done 12 investments in B2B start-ups, managing a portfolio of €5 million. Founding Curator of Global Shapers Riga hub, World Economic Forum. Previously managed business development process in UK-based education technology company Edurio and Microsoft Latvia. Was also actively involved in youth empowerment as the elected president of the Student Association at Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Chairperson of the European Youth Parliament and a Fellow with Initiatives of Change in Switzerland. Passionate about youth empowerment and education; works on various initiatives in the field of public policy-making to support both. Frequent lecturer, panellist and commentator.
