Dr. EFRANSJAH graduated from Bogor Agricultural University, and completed his Master and Doctoral degrees in Sciences du Bois, at the Universite de Nancy I, France in 1988. Dr. Efransjah joined WWF Indonesia as Chief Executive Officer in 2010. He previously served CIFOR Regional Coordinator for South-east and East Asia, 7 years as UNDP Chief Technical Advisor for Global Environment Facility initiative, and 10 years as Projects Manager (Asia and Pacific region) at the International Tropical Timber Organization. He started his earlier career with the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry.
