Professor of International Relations and former Deputy Director, Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva; directs the Institute's Programme on Gender and Global Change. Research focuses on gender politics in global governance, in particular in the areas of labour, security and development. Academic year 2014-15, Fellow, Women and Public Policy Program, Harvard. Participates in the UN's Sustainable Development Solutions Network, providing expertise for the post-2015 development agenda.
