Eric Marchiol

Vice-President, Digital Transformation, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Groupe Renault

Eric Marchiol, graduated as an Engineer from Ecole Centrale de Lyon. He started in Renault Flins plant in 1989. Eric has made his career between Manufacturing and Engineering in different plants and corporate functions. In January 2011, he was appointed Head of Manufacturing Operations in Flins plant and managed “CLIO 4” and “ZOE” (first EV vehicle) new launches. Since 2013, as director, he took charge of Renault production systems and manufacturing training operations worldwide. He worked with Nissan to build the “Alliance Production System”, which was implemented in all Renault and Nissan plants worldwide. In April 2016, he became Digital Officer for Manufacturing and Supply Chain, in charge of the Renault “Industry 4.0” transformation plan. As of 2018 Eric is Vice-President, Digital Transformation, Manufacturing and Supply Chain for Groupe Renault.
