Erik is the Chief Growth Officer for Cognizant's largest commercial organization, managing approx. $14B in revenue across the Americas. In this role, he bridges strategy and operations functions to drive growth around select growth initiatives. He leads sales operations and enablement teams. Erik previously led strategy, offering management, and operating model functions as head of strategy for Cognizant's Digital Business and Technology service line. Previously, he led strategy, M&A, and alliances in the data/AI practice and served a tour as Chief of Staff to two Cognizant CEOs. Prior to Cognizant, he was a White House Fellow serving on the Policy Planning Staff of the Secretary of State where he focused on cyber policy. Erik's academic background includes a PhD in international relations. In each of these varied contexts, Erik's work has focused on complex challenges of strategy, planning, execution, and decision-making support within and across large organizations.
