Eva Maria Ferstl is leading Operational Excellence at Novartis Corporate Affairs (NCA). She is responsible for translating the NCA strategy into operations, driving capability building initiatives and ensuring effective daily operations.

Eva started her career at Merck Sharpe and Dohme in Vienna, Austria in marketing and sales. She joined Novartis in 2005 in Vienna, Austria and since then has held a variety of commercial leadership positions on local, regional and global levels across the divisions Innovative Medicines. She led the strategy development for European markets, launched/ re-launched brands globally and locally, maximized brand priorities and portfolios and developed and executed lifecycle strategies. She has extensive experience in commercial operations at country and headquarters level across different therapeutic areas.

Eva is a trained Chemical Engineer, holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry, and an executive MBA from the Vienna School of Economics.
