Taught post-graduate law for more than 10 years. 1992-2002, Programme Director, FIELD's flagship Climate Change and Energy Programme. 1994-06, Lead Author, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. International environmental lawyer, senior climate negotiator and government adviser; director of multi-disciplinary social science research projects in the field of climate change and development, providing legal advice and consultancy work to international organizations and NGOs. Also teaches International Climate Change Law and Policy, University College, London University. Research Fellow, Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.
