Ferdinand Grapperhaus is a physics engineer and impact-driven entrepreneur dedicated to advancing sustainable technologies. He is the CEO of Next Sense, which applies AI-based control logic and advanced building-physics algorithms to reduce energy consumption in commercial real estate by up to 40 percent. Ferdinand also co-founded Fotoniq B.V., a company that increases crop yields by 10 percent without additional land, energy, or resources. He is founding board member of the 'Changing the Perspective' Foundation, organizer of the GESTE summer school promoting green energy and smart technology education. In addition, he serves as an advisor to the Delft Energy Neutral 2040 committee, an ambassador for INESPO, and a volunteer with AMSTA.
