Filippo is a policy advisor of the Vice Mayor, in the Mayor's Office of Milan in different fields, all related with sustainability.
He is in charge of developing the city strategy to meet the SDGs and report the achievements to the citizens and to the UNDP.
He coordinates the awareness raising campaign #AmbienteaScuola, a PPP directed towards educating young people on respecting the environment and on promoting circular economy. The campaign involves all Milan schools.
Furthermore, he contributes to the implementation of a sustainable and inclusive Milan Food Policy from food production, to preventing food waste. He coordinates the Milan Pact Awards, a global program that recognizes cities’ innovation in making their food system more sustainable and that promotes city to city cooperation in this field.
Shaper since 2012 and Curator of the Milan Hub in 2017-18 he gives its contribution to many hub’s project, including the organization of Shape Europe Milan 2017. He is member of the Climate Actions Steering Committee and is a Climate Reality Leader.
In 2013 he co-founded an Association, Milano Fuoriclasse, aimed at spreading civic education among young students by discovering the city cultural heritage an organizing active citizenship’s initiatives. To date more than 1000 students have been involved.
He is a postgraduate in International Relations and holds a Master in Diplomacy. He focused his studies on environmental law and climate change.
