FX (Francois-Xavier) de Mallmann is Chairman of Investment Banking, Global Banking and Markets (since 2017) and Chairman of Goldman Sachs EMEA (since 2025). He is member of Goldman Sachs’ Management Committee and of the European Management Committee. He has worked at Goldman Sachs and Co. since 1993 in a number of senior roles, based in London and in New York, including as Chief Operating Officer, Global Investment Banking Division (2007-2008); Head of Investment Banking Services in EMEA (2011-2013), Head of the European Financing Group and Capital Markets businesses in EMEA (2008 to 2011); Global Co-Head of the Consumer Retail and Healthcare Group (2014-2017) and Head of Investment Banking, Switzerland (2002-2007). He has been a partner in the firm since 2004. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the International Rescue Committee. FX graduated from Hochschule St Gallen and the Community of European Management Schools in 1992.
