Gaku Nakamura is Director for the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in the Geostrategy & International Affairs Department at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI). In this role, he oversees the planning and execution of the company’s government relations, external affairs, and global operations across these regions.

Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Nakamura served as Head of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America’s Washington, D.C. Office from 2021 to 2026. Before that, he servrd as Director of Corporate Administration at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America.His overseas assignments also included New York from 2013 to 2016 and Houston from 2016 to 2017.

Since joining MHI in 2006, Mr. Nakamura has held a variety of roles in international marketing and business development, including positions in the Overseas Business Promotion Department.
