Gary McElyea leads Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability for The Coca-Cola Company in Great Britain and Ireland.

Gary joined Coca-Cola in 2011. He most recently served as the Group Director of Coca-Cola’s North America Public Policy Center. In 2022, he was on assignment leading public policy for the company’s Eurasia and Middle East Operating Unit. Before joining Coca-Cola, Gary served as an advisor and spokesman for elected officials in the U.S., and worked as radio presenter and journalist.

Gary is the past vice chairman of The Recycling Partnership. He is a graduate of the Leadership Missouri program and serves on the group’s alumni board of directors. Gary holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Missouri State University.
