Since the age of 13 Gaurav was involved in youth activism, he currently is involved in diverse fields of development and is associated with several national and international organizations such as United Nations Youth and Students Association Nepal-UNYSAN along with US Embassy's Youth Advisory Council Nepal and others.

Also an active blogger and media enthusiast, Gaurav leads several leadership workshops as well as creative forums. He has been and a pro active development campaigner and been acknowledged for his contribution in several national as well as international campaigns.

As a Program Project Consultant, currently he is engaged with Shark Tank Nepal - Award Winning Business Investment TV Reality show among several other projects. While, he has been involved in his family businesses in pharmaceuticals & hospitality.

Gaurav contributed as Global & Regional Lead for South Asia at Global Shapers Community led project Shape Love together with outreach relations as Shaper at Kathmandu Hub. He has attended Shape South Asia - Ahmedabad (2014) , Colombo (2016), Bangkok (2023) and also hosted Kathmandu (2015) & (2023). He has also been recognized as the Longest Serving Shaper by Kathmandu hub on it's 10th year Anniversary.
