With Shell: assignments in the UK, Nigeria, Syria and the Netherlands; former Managing Director, Brunei Shell Petroleum, Royal Dutch Shell's upstream joint venture company in Brunei, and Managing Director, Brunei Shell Tankers; currently, responsible for international shipping and maritime activities, setting strategy and managing the operational aspects of all Shell's floating assets globally across all businesses, including ships, barges, drilling units, supply boats, FPSOs, FSRUs, SBMs, etc. and the related operations in some 130 ports and terminals around the world; strongly focused on improving safety and environmental aspects, improving the efficiency of shipping and maritime operations, and driving technology and innovation, including Floating LNG and the use of LNG as a marine fuel.
