Guilherme Rosso

Global Shaper, Curitiba Hub

Guilherme is head of innovation at Pequeno Príncipe Hospital - the largest and oldest children’s hospital in Brazil - and a PhD candidate in Science, Technology and Society at the Federal University of Technlogy - Paraná (UTFPR). He's also a delegate for Youth20 | G20 Brasil 2024 on Innovation and Future of Work and coordinates the Youth Committee for the 5th Brazilian National Conference on Science, Technology, and Innovation.

Guilherme is a member of the Curitiba Hub at the Global Shaper Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum for leaders under 30 years old, and was selected to be part of the Davos50 cohort for the WEF Annual Meeting 2024. As a Fellow of the U.S. Department of State through the Young Leaders of the America Initiative (YLAI), he has worked at Singularity University and at Boston Children's Hospital.

He is also co-founder and former CEO of Emerge Brazil and co-founder of Brazil’s Science without Borders Alumni Network. He holds a master’s degree from the University of São Paulo and a bachelor’s degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte.

Recently, Guilherme has traveled to India for an 8.000km journey by train, visiting 10 cities in 14 days, with 450 innovators aboard, through the Jagriti Startup20 G20 Yatra.
