During his time at the University of Sussex, Hassan served as a student representative and demonstrated a genuine passion for student politics. As a representative of the academic interests of students at the University of Sussex Business School, Hassan collaborated closely with the student union to gather valuable feedback and present it to the University Staff. His efforts aimed to bring about meaningful and positive changes that would benefit the student body. Hassan also played an integral role in decision making processes concerning academic issues faced by students, working with university committees to ensure their voices were heard.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Hassan actively engages in social activities and
development programs. His commitment to societal upliftment is evident through his volunteer work with the Government of Pakistan during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide essential supplies such as masks, hand sanitizers, clothing, and food to underprivileged areas. Moreover,
in response to the disastrous floods that struck Pakistan in 2022, Hassan sourced basic food necessities for affected communities, showcasing his compassion and resilience in the face of adversity.
Hassan's dedication extends beyond borders, as he worked with Marks and Spencers, where he assisted in renovating school playgrounds, This initiative was part of Marks and Spencer's pledge to transform 1,000 communities across the UK by 2025.
