Hassan Ahmad is a Pakistani business leader working across industry, media and technology. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of Madina Group of Industries (MGI) and 92 News, one of Pakistan’s prominent television news networks.

At MGI, Hassan is involved across a diversified industrial portfolio spanning sugar, ethanol, agriculture, steel and manufacturing, with a focus on responsible growth, resource efficiency and the adoption of more sustainable industrial practices. His interests include CO₂ recovery and utilization, agricultural productivity, waste reduction, value creation from industrial by-products, and renewable and alternative energy opportunities. He is particularly interested in how established industries can use emerging technologies and circular approaches to become more efficient, resilient and competitive.

At 92 News, Hassan focuses on strengthening media operations, accelerating digital transformation and exploring new approaches to how news, information and storytelling reach audiences.

Beyond business, Hassan serves as Curator of the Global Shapers Community – Faisalabad Hub (2026–27), part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community. He works with young leaders on locally driven initiatives spanning artificial intelligence, sustainable agriculture, circularity, entrepreneurship and youth opportunity, with an emphasis on translating ideas into practical community impact.

Based in Faisalabad, one of Pakistan’s major industrial and agricultural centres, Hassan is particularly interested in the intersection of emerging technology, sustainable industry, media and cross-sector collaboration, and their potential to address real-world challenges and unlock new opportunities in emerging economies.

Hassan holds a BSc in Business Management from the University of Sussex and has completed a Credential of Readiness in Digital Innovation and Strategy at Harvard Business School Online. Outside his professional and community work, he enjoys travelling, horse riding and golf.
