Hayfa is on a mission to equip those who are left behind with strategies, skills and technology to adapt and thrive in a complex changing world.
Currently, she is the Head of Youth Engagement at RIVET. A global organization that channels the economic power of youth to fund youth-led solutions around the world.
Over the past 5 years, this had led her to work with citizens, governments, for-profit and non-profit organizations to design and implement social change through a diversity of innovation and entrepreneurship mechanisms. As a result of her work, she has innovated approaches to technical design and implementation. Her areas of interest include meaningful youth engagement, digital literacy, social entrepreneurship, organizational change, social accountability, behavioural insights and systems transformation. She has travelled and collaborated with experts across the MENA region, Europe, North America, East and West Africa.
Hayfa worked with the UNDP, the ITU, UN-Habitat, and multiple startups as a staff member, consultant, trainer and mentor.
In 2019, she has been listed as one of the 100 most influential women by BBC.
