Hera Barrameda is a real estate executive and community builder turned tech entrepreneur. She is the co-chair of OCEAN Summit (www.oceansummit.ph), a biennial gathering in the Philippines that connects cross-sector leaders to new ideas and elevate homegrown education. She recently became an On Deck Founder Fellow, where she ended up building Layla.ph, a social commerce platform aimed at leveraging the power of mobile phones to reinvent the way microentrepeneurs scale. She has 9 years of experience in the corporate space with a strong background in revenue management, accounting, branding and philanthropy. Hera previously served the Injap Group Companies leading the groups Corporate Social Responsibility arm and DoubleDragon Sales Corporation. She was part of the executive board of the Youth Beyond Disasters Network working with the United Nations International Strategy on Disaster Reduction and headed initiatives to help rehabilitate areas devastated by the supertyphoon Haiyan through interventions in education, livelihood, health and housing. She recently became part of Antler's Singapore cohort, the Hive Global Leaders Network and in 2016 was recognized as one of the 10 inaugural fellows of the NASA's Singularity University Impact Scholars Program. Hera is an alumni of the Ayala Young Leaders, the Bayer Young Environmental Envoys and the Southeast Asia Youth for Change Network.
