MSc in Philosophy of Science, Technology & Society (1991). PhD in Science and Technology Studies (1998). Since 1997 at TU Delft, section Ethics and Philosophy of Technology. NWO VICI award in 2010. Currently Anthonie van Leeuwenhoek Professor in Ethics and Technology. Interests: responsible innovation, engineering ethics, the moral acceptability of technological risks, Design for Values, moral responsibility, and ethics of newly emerging technologies. Currently project leader of EU project PRISMA on responsible innovation in industry.
